For better or for worse, the world is changing. And fire safety companies are being pressured to change with it. Per the 2016 NFPA Fire Safety Guidelines, all emergency communication systems now have to be both loud AND clear. Intelligibility (yes, it's a real term) is now a requirement. So, in order to pass future inspections, fire safety professionals need to update their current solutions with newer, more compliant components or risk incurring expensive reinstallation costs.
The CX challenge
Since 1930, Quam-Nichols Company has been a respected and valued brand in the paging and mass communication industries. Unfortunately, that reputation did not carry over to the fire safety industry. We were starting over—new market, new sales tools, new messaging, and new sales coordination. But we had two things working in our favor: 1) an innovative, fully compliant product, and 2) a client willing to try new things.
