The CX challenge
Even though Aladdin's dongles and DRM solutions were already popular throughout other parts of the world, they struggled in the U.S., where consumers favored software titles that could be 'shared' without reproach. The challenges for Aladdin were many: small sales force, minimal brand recognition with VARs, and a cultural prejudice against dongles and two-factor verification.
