Aladdin Knowledge Systems
THE Customer NEED
Back in the 2000s, consumer software developers and enterprise solution providers were in need of simple, effective deterrents against consumer piracy.

The CX challenge
Even though Aladdin's dongles and DRM solutions were already popular throughout other parts of the world, they struggled in the U.S., where consumers favored software titles that could be 'shared' without reproach. The challenges for Aladdin were many: small sales force, minimal brand recognition with VARs, and a cultural prejudice against dongles and two-factor verification.
